Joel’s available for consultation at our Woodville clinic every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. You’ll also find him at Posture Podiatry in Hackney every Monday and Thursday.

Staff Training
Last month, our team had the pleasure of attending a joint workshop with our sister clinic, Posture Podiatry, hosted by world-renowned foot mobilisation and communications expert, Ted Jedynak.
The workshop focused on enhancing both our clinical communication and hands-on skills. We spent the afternoon refining how we communicate with patients and colleagues—an area that plays a vital role in building trust, improving understanding, and ultimately achieving better treatment outcomes. While most of us recognise the importance of effective communication, the session offered fresh insights and practical tools we can apply in everyday practice.
Ted also generously shared his expertise in Foot Mobilisation Therapy (FMT), answering key questions and demonstrating a few valuable techniques that we can integrate into our treatment approach.
It was an engaging and informative afternoon, and we’re excited to apply what we learned to continue delivering the highest standard of care to our patients.

Winter Foot Health Tips
Here are five foot care tips from our experts to keep your feet healthy this winter:
- Keep Your Feet Warm — But Not Sweaty
Choose socks made from moisture-wicking materials like merino wool to keep your feet warm and dry. Damp feet in cold weather can lead to chilblains, fungal infections, and increased discomfort. - Moisturise Daily
Cold weather can dry out the skin, leading to cracks—especially around the heels. Apply a foot-specific moisturiser each night to prevent dryness and improve skin integrity. - Check Your Footwear
Make sure your winter shoes and boots fit well, offer good support, and have enough tread to prevent slipping. Avoid tight footwear that restricts circulation, particularly for those with diabetes or poor circulation. - Don’t Ignore Numbness or Pain
Cold temperatures can aggravate existing conditions like neuropathy or circulation problems. If you’re experiencing persistent numbness, tingling, or heel pain, book a check-up—it’s better to catch issues early. - Stay Active Indoors
Less walking and time outdoors in winter can reduce circulation to the feet. Gentle stretches or simple foot exercises at home can help maintain mobility, strength, and blood flow.
